Sophie Allerding

I am an artist, visual storyteller and feminist based in Germany and the Netherlands. In my work, I deal a lot with myths, relations, identity and role and history of women in society. I am motivated by personal questions and experiences and influenced by my Latin American roots, especially when it comes to a magical way of perceiving reality. I work mainly with the medium of photography. I am enthusiastic about creating surreal sceneries with a medium that mostly triggers the perception of an authentic representation of the truth.

Year of birth: 1993
Country of residence: Netherlands
